Our programs are thoughtfully designed to nurture each child’s natural curiosity through exploration, play, and connection to the world around them. Rooted in a nature-based approach, we create meaningful experiences that support emotional growth, creativity, and independence - allowing every child to develop at their own rhythm within a warm and respectful environment.
Our Programs
Ages 0 - 2
Nursery - Bana
Our Nursery provides a warm, nurturing and welcoming environment where our youngest children can feel safe, secure and supported as they begin their journey at KSMAL.
Our educators take the time to build trusting relationships with each child and family, following each child’s individual routines, needs and interests. Through gentle care, play and exploration, babies are encouraged to discover their surroundings, develop new skills and grow in confidence at their own pace.
We understand how important those first years are, and we aim to make our Nursery feel like a home away from home — filled with cuddles, connection, learning and plenty of opportunities to explore.
Ages 1 - 3
Toddlers - Djarring
Our Toddler Room is a fun, engaging and nurturing environment designed for busy little learners who are becoming more independent and curious about the world around them.
Through play, exploration and meaningful everyday experiences, our educators support children to develop their confidence, communication, friendships and growing independence. Children are encouraged to make choices, explore their interests and learn at their own pace within a safe and supportive environment.
Our educators build strong, trusting relationships with each child and family, creating a space where toddlers feel secure, valued and excited to learn, play and discover each day.
Ages 3 - 6
The BEES - Dutula
Our BEES Program encourages children to explore, discover and develop a deeper connection with the world around them, with a special focus on our Earth, the environment and sustainability.
Through hands-on, play-based experiences, children learn about nature, caring for our environment, reducing waste, recycling, gardening and making sustainable choices. We encourage children to ask questions, investigate how things work and understand the important role they can play in caring for our planet.
Along the way, children build confidence, independence, friendships and problem-solving skills while developing respect and appreciation for the natural world.
Our BEES Program is all about learning, exploring and growing together while helping little minds understand how we can care for our Earth — now and into the future.
Ages 3 - 6
Bush Kinder
Our Bush Kinder Program takes learning beyond the classroom and gives children the opportunity to explore, discover and connect with the natural world.
Through regular outdoor experiences, children are encouraged to investigate, take appropriate risks, problem-solve, work together and use their imagination in an open-ended natural environment. From climbing and balancing to discovering insects, collecting natural treasures and observing the changing seasons, every Bush Kinder session brings new opportunities for learning.
Bush Kinder supports confidence, resilience, independence and a sense of belonging while giving children the freedom to slow down, get a little muddy and experience the joy of learning in nature.
