Winter themed Deakin trip

Today we had our monthly excursion to Deakin Reserve. All the educators headed across with 17 children to participate in the activities provided to us with Arthur Dickman being the hosts of this months activities. We also had Community Kids join us again to join in on all the fun. The activities on offer to us were winter themed, we were lucky enough to have a beautiful day to get the most out of each activity on offer. The activities included; face painting, snowman bottle flip, penguin ring toss, pin the nose on Olaf, ice hockey, kite making, crown decorating and ball play with a variety of different sized balls on offer. The clear winner for the favorite activity for the day was the kite making. This was a big hit with nearly everyone sitting down with Keira to make their own kite. It was great to see everyone interacting with new faces and participating in all the activities. We look forward to meeting up with them again next month.
